Disney inspired

I know it is weird to have a blog title "Disney Inspired" on a Jamaican blog about Jamaican food. Hang with me on this journey and you will figure it out.

Disney as a brand is an industry titan that has become the ruler against which service is measured. In the year 2016 I became a Cast Member and from my hire date, my perspective on service has entirely changed. Disney as a brand has a service oriented culture that focuses on satisfaction of guest. However, Disney prizes itself on making magical moments in the form of memories that will last a lifetime. It is through adapting this mentality, that Mojamaican, despite competitors, creates a more immersive feeling for each customer through our packaging. 

While everyone can order from almost any online store, what is left behind with the customer after the consumption of the product is more important. As a brand, we have created Jamaica in a box through adding elements of what is reflective of Jamaica and keepsakes that our customers can have. Some of our added features are themed confetti that is the Jamaican colours, a hand written "Thank you note" and another surprise. 

It is through having worked with a brand that values guest loyalty and repeat business that as a frontline Cast Member creating and executing daily magical moments for all guests of all ages that I am able to apply this principle to Mojamaican. While Mojamaican is growing in delivering Jamaican Care Packages to Jamaicans and Jamaican enthusiasts we have included in our vision and mission the need to service our customers beyond their expectations. Hence our Vision: Providing unparalleled packaging of Jamaican delicacies throughout the diaspora and beyond. 

We hope to continue to create fond memories of Jamaica and the Jamaican culture through packaging your favorite Jamaican snacks, Jamaican beverages, Jamaican seasonings and spices as well as Jamaican Merchandise. Through your loyalty to us and our vision, we hope to, together contribute to the Jamaican economy. 

Jamaica as an island in the Caribbean is blessed with a unique and diverse food culture that is like no other country. With each snack, seasoning or beverage is a past time, a story a unique purpose behind its creation.
